Under File menu, Database Utilities contains the following programs:

For the Truck record, the End of Year program will clear the accumulators.

For the Order and Rates, the End of Period program will clear the accumulators.

For the Material record, use the Clear Totals

How can I set up the remarks for a ticket? Return to Top

For a generic message, you can it set up in the Company Master. If you have purchase the Order option, you may set up individual customer messages in the Order. The weighmaster may also include a message.

How can I set up delivery charges by the mile? Return to Top

The miles field in the customer record and the customer order will be used to determine the delivery charge. Set up the delivery charge amount in the customer material rates. The weighmaster will still have the option of charging the customer at the time of ticketing.

How can control prices being printed on a ticket? Return to Top

There are three ways you may control the printing of prices on a ticket. The first in the company master. If you have purchase the option of Orders, you may control prices printed on tickets for the particular order. The last option is by the user id's authority level.

How can I convert weights? Return to Top

In the Company Master, you have an option of weighing in tns, lbs or kg. In the report selection box, you may report your weights in conversions available in various reports-for more detail see Support Tips

If you have purchased Orders, select Metric to control the conversion to metric ton. This field enables the user to convert weights in a specific customer order to metric tons.

To convert weights to other weight measures, there is an option of User-defined conversions available.

How can I set up a county or local tax to automatically add on to tickets? Return to Top

There are three levels of taxation available. The first level is in the Company Master. The options of Orders and Locations are used to set the rates of county or local taxes.

How can I set limits for a certain customer? Return to Top

In the customer record, you may limit the dollar amount of a customer's usage. The system will notify the weighmaster at 75% of credit limit if one is set up. When the customer exceeds the limit, the software will let the weighmaster continue. The customers record is updated during the ticketing process.

If you have purchased the option of Orders, the ANY MATERIAL field enables the user to restrict use of materials during the ticketing process. Restricting materials requires setting up of specific Material Rates.

The LIMIT field in the order is a tonnage limit can be set for this customer order.

In the LIMIT PERIOD field in the order, you may limit how much customer usage may occur in a given period.

Set up users with authority levels

Set the password and authority level desired to limit access to any given program. Only users with a high enough authority level, and those given the password, will be able to enter the program in question.
