Connections DB25 to DB25 Return to Top
Connections should be made as follows:
DB25 Male

DB-25 DTE
-3 RXD
-2 TXD
-7 GND |

Some indicators have to be hard wired. This means that the wires must be connected inside the indicator either by screw terminal or solder. In this case, the following applies:
Hardwire Connections DB25 to scale should be made as follows: Return to Top
DB-25 DTE to Scale
TXD 2--RXD
RXD 3--TXD
GND 7--GND
Hardwire Connections DB9 to scale should be made as follows: Return to Top
DB-9 DCE to Scale
TXD 3--RXD
RXD 2--TXD
GND 5--GND
For more information on wiring consult the manual for the scale indicator.
