Creative Information Systems has developed interfaces between the Rice Lakes 920i and the FB3000 from Fairbanks Scales that act as the scale indicator inside the kiosk. Running our unmanned version of SMS allows for the configuration of prompts and selection lists to show up on the screen of kiosk. Traffic control devices managed by either the kiosk unit or our software add to the successful management of unmanned ticketing.

Many customers monitor scale personnel from one of their busier sites to monitor their other unmanned sites. Using a combination of remote intercoms and cameras, it is entirely possible to eliminate the need for a scale operator at those locations where traffic volume makes it hard to justify that cost otherwise.
